{"id":193,"date":"2022-02-06T12:32:18","date_gmt":"2022-02-06T12:32:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.cliftmeadow.org.uk\/?page_id=193"},"modified":"2022-10-12T11:31:45","modified_gmt":"2022-10-12T10:31:45","slug":"faq","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/cliftmeadow.org.uk\/index.php\/faq\/","title":{"rendered":"FAQ"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>FAQ for Clift website<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>What facilities does the kitchen have?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Pavilion<\/em><\/strong><em>: Oven, fridge, microwave,&nbsp; dishwasher, hot water urn, cutlery, cups plates&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Brocas:<\/em><\/strong><em> Fridge, microwave, kettle<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>For both halls you should bring washing up sponge\/cloth, detergent and dishtowels and cloths for wiping down surfaces<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>How do I gain access?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Prior to your booking you will receive an e-mail with a PDF attached giving instructions for accessing the building using the keyboxes on-site.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If there are any difficulties on the day call the emergency contact number displayed on the small noticeboards to the left of building entrances.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Can I set up the day before?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You have access for the length of hire, therefore if you need to set up the day before you need to hire the hall for that time also<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Can I have a BBQ?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Yes, but you must inform the Trustees first and observe safety procedures<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Can I have sole access to the field?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>No, the Meadow is a public space<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Can we have alcohol<\/strong>?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Yes, but you cannot sell alcohol as this would need a special licence<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>I have a high vehicle &#8211; can I have the car park gate opened?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Be this for yourself or for a delivery (e.g.bouncy castles) please state at time of booking and you will receive instructions for opening the height restriction as requires<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>How do I arrange payment?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>When you make your booking either online by email or telephone we will send an invoice for payment, usually by email<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What method of payments can you accept?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Preferably BACS although Cheques or Cash can be accepted<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Is there a minimum hire charge?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Minimum party booking is half a day, please see the party booking section of the Tarriff (link to page)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Which building has the biggest rooms?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Both buildings are pretty much the same size, however, the Pavilion has a larger Kitchen and more toilet facilities and Brocas has a higher ceiling and larger doors<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>What are the room dimensions?<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Pavilion:<\/strong> 14.5 x 6.1 metres (2.6m high)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Brocas<\/strong>: 11.7 x 5.8 metres (3.6m high<\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>What is the capacity of each building?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Each building can hold approximately 50 people. Both buildings have tables and chairs<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Any music equipment?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pavilion has a speaker system, you need a 3.5mm jack or 2x phono cable to connect <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brocas has no system<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li><strong>Wifi?<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, both halls have free wi-fi, no password needed just connect to \u201cClift Meadow Wi-Fi&#8221; We <em>have a 40Mbps internet connection.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>FAQ for Clift website What facilities does the kitchen have?
